As all the airlines are active on twitter. All of them try to engage and build a strong customer base through twitter. Today I am going to observe twitter accounts of air new Zealand and fly emirates and compare them which one is doing better on twitter.

From the above table we can see that air New Zealand is more active on twitter and tweets more often than Fly emirates even though it has less followers. Air New Zealand has more like and they following number of other accounts on twitter as compared to emirates. There are some posts that can be seen on their Facebook pages but, there are number of new posts on twitter for both the airlines. Air New Zealand focus on beautiful sceneries that are in their destinations whereas emirates primarily focus is on their first class service in their tweets. Tweets about their air crafts can also be seen from both sides. Air New Zealand has also tweeted about the Cyber Monday discount on their twitter account.

Emirates got 321 likes, 80 re tweets and 12 replies on this post. This post is about a music event in Dubai sponsored by emirates where crew members of emirates can be seen with the celebrities. On the other, air New Zealand got very few likes as compared emirates because they have very few followers and it is a picture of adventure activity that is held in New Zealand.

From the overall observation, it can be said that fly emirates is more user engage on twitter as it has more followers whereas air new Zealand is trying to get more active on by tweeting more often.
